Whether you’re ready to get started or just want to ask a few questions first, our team is here to help and we’ll be in touch soon.
We provide disability support across Logan City, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the surrounding areas of Queensland. If you’re not sure whether we cover your area, just reach out and our team will be happy to help.
Choosing the right support provider is a big decision, and we know you probably have questions before you commit to anything. Speaking with our team first means you can ask about your specific situation and get real answers, not a generic response.
We combine strong compliance, clear communication and genuine cultural understanding with a team that is organised and responsive, so you can feel confident before you even sign up.
Do you have questions before you get in touch? Here are some of the ones we hear most often.
Switching support providers can feel like a big step, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. If you’re moving to K Holistic Wellness from another NDIS provider, our team will guide you through the process from your very first conversation with us. We’ll ask a few questions about your current support, your NDIS plan and what’s working or not working for you, then handle the coordination on our end so the transition is as smooth as possible.
There’s no need to wait for a set date either, once you’re ready, we can start planning your support straight away. Throughout the process, we’ll keep you informed and make sure nothing falls through the cracks, so you can feel confident that your care continues without disruption.
We understand how important consistency is, so we do everything we can to make sure your regular support partner is there when you need them. If they’re ever unavailable, whether due to leave or illness, we’ll organise a suitably matched replacement who understands your goals, routine and preferences, so your support continues without unnecessary disruption. We’ll always communicate with you ahead of time where possible, so you know what to expect and who to expect.
Yes. Every member of our team completes an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a National Police Check before they begin supporting participants. Safety is one of our core values, and that starts with knowing exactly who is coming into your home or supporting you in the community. We also carry out ongoing training so our team stays up to date with best practice, compliance requirements and the specific needs of the people we support.
Once we receive a referral, we move quickly. Our team will be in touch within a short timeframe to introduce ourselves, understand the participant’s needs and answer any initial questions from the referrer or family. From there, how quickly support actually begins depends on a few things, including the complexity of the participant’s needs and the availability of a suitably matched support worker, but we always aim to get things moving as efficiently as we can. If a referral is urgent, let us know, we’ll do everything possible to prioritise it and keep everyone involved updated along the way.
Yes, this is actually one of the things that sets K Holistic Wellness apart. We work in partnership with an aged care provider, which means participants can move between disability and aged care services with smoother coordination and less disruption as their needs change over time. Rather than starting from scratch with a completely new provider, participants who transition between the two systems can benefit from consistent communication, shared understanding of their history and a more seamless experience overall.
If you’re supporting someone who is approaching this kind of transition, whether that’s a family member, a participant or someone you’re referring, our team is happy to talk through what the process looks like and how we can help keep things as steady as possible during the change.
Cultural understanding isn’t an afterthought for us, it’s central to how we work. Our team has direct experience supporting people from CALD and refugee backgrounds, and we take the time to understand each participant’s culture, background and lived experience rather than applying a standard approach to everyone.
Where possible, we consider language, cultural practices and personal preferences when matching participants with a support worker, so the support feels respectful and genuinely suited to the individual rather than generic. If you have specific cultural or language considerations for someone you’re referring or supporting, let our team know early in the process. The more we understand from the outset, the better we can tailor support that reflects who they are, not just what’s written in their plan.
